The successful Palmer Scholars program wanted to grab its audience with an updated look. Newly designed marketing materials and versatile brand graphics helped the organization stand out and attract donors, foundations and scholars.
Time for a change
Entering its 25th year, Palmer Scholars sought a new look that reflected its uniqueness. The nonprofit scholarship and mentorship program helps 90 percent of its college students graduate.
Shaping the image
JayRay created a logo symbolizing the Palmer Scholars’ distinctive program of student support and success with a silhouette of a student, diploma held high in victory. JayRay extended the brand to business papers, a newsletter, a brochure and Web site.
Being seen at last
Right away, Palmer Scholars noticed that people looked at the program differently, and board members and donors were delighted with the new logo. The brand graphics have proven versatile and flexible, and continue to be extended to a host of other new applications from video to signage.
