They’re Coming, Are You?To ride the crest of the wildly successful Tall Ships 2005 festival, JayRay sought to evoke the surprise and exhilaration of the festival to generate ticket sales for tours and cruises. Using the tag line “They’re Coming, Are You?,” JayRay positioned Tall Ships with a series of billboards as a must-attend event, conjuring up unexpected experiences of the international sailing event featuring more than 30 ships. JayRay’s creative, graphic and identity standards were extended to posters, e-mail blasts, banners, tickets and a myriad of collateral pieces created by volunteers, vendors and sponsors. The result was amazing visual continuity. An estimated 400,000 people attended Tall Ships Tacoma 2008, staffed by 1,200 volunteers. JayRay staff also volunteered at the event, a continuing commitment from 2005 when JayRay hosted and managed the media center. |
