Employees want good benefits. But they don’t want to have to think about them. Catholic Health Initiatives needed to get employees’ attention about critical benefit changes, required actions and opportunities to improve their health and well-being.

  • Created a clear, lively presentation—and a video version—to announce major employee benefit plan changes 
  • Helped employees easily recognize priority news about annual enrollment, wellness incentives and action items with digital graphics
  • Created inviting enrollment materials for the Health Care Assistance Program, including teaser direct mail and a plain-speak program guide
  • Prepared articles for the quarterly benefits and wellness magazine

RESULTS

  • Limited opt-outs, maintaining high employee participation when auto-enrollment was introduced for the 401(k) retirement savings plan
  • Doubled enrollment in the Health Care Assistance Plan for 2017  
  • Engaged more than 68,000 employees with information about wellness incentives, health savings accounts and more
