SOUTH SOUND PROUD CAMPAIGN RECOGNIZED FOR STRATEGY, PARTNERSHIP

JayRay, South Sound Together earn three national communications awards

Judges cited the stealth launch of the South Sound Proud brand badge—including sidewalk chalk art—and the “brilliant” stylized image of Mount Rainier and “Live Like the Mountain is Out” campaign theme in awarding South Sound Together and JayRay first place in the prestigious PR Daily Nonprofit PR Awards program for 2017.

The national competition honors nonprofits that inspire change with few resources. The partnership category recognizes how corporations and nonprofits worked together to achieve amazing results.

Earlier the South Sound Proud branding effort earned a platinum award for branding from the Marcom Awards of the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals and silver recognition in the international Summit Marketing Effectiveness program.
