News ReleaseMay 27, 2009Taylor-Thomason Insurance Brokers sharpens the dullness of business insurance with famous last words
Most research shows that business insurance is of little interest. A Tacoma business insurance company wanted to prove otherwise when announcing its new name. Taylor-Thomason Insurance Brokers, formerly Tom Taylor Insurance, modified its name to reflect the co-ownership by Steve Thomason, an owner since 1992. To introduce the new name, Taylor-Thomason turned to JayRay. Knowing that insurance services are sold based on the relationship between insurance companies and their brokers and based on common interest, JayRay developed a campaign focusing on famous last words―those words uttered before catastrophe strikes. The campaign includes famous last words such as “365 days without an accident,” “Whats this button do?” “I’m sure I thought of everything,” “He’s our most trusted employee” and “It’s strong enough for the both of us.” The campaign was designed to engage prospects and the general public. People are invited to send in their own famous last words through JayRay’s Facebook page and Taylor Thomason’s Web site, www.ttib.net. Taylor-Thomason has received many suggestions such as “I tried it at home” and “red wire, green wire…?” As a tease, Taylor-Thomason ran one billboard with nothing but a conversation bubble with quotation marks and fill in the blank and very small “Send us your famous last words: www.ttib.net.” ![]() |
