News ReleaseMay 13, 2008Campbell becomes JayRay shareholder
Sumner resident Shari Campbell, senior advisor at JayRay Ads & PR, recently became a shareholder in the firm. A 20-plus year veteran in marketing and communications, Campbell joins JayRay shareholders Kurt Jacobson, Jerry McLaughlin and Kathleen Deakins. As a vice president, Campbell will participate in business strategy and operational decisions. “I’ve always admired Shari’s strategic thinking, broad knowledge of marketing and customer relations strategies, and intense focus on results,” says Jacobson, JayRay president. “We’ve been looking forward to adding her to our management team.” Campbell’s expertise in health care added depth to JayRay when she was hired by the agency in 2005. Since then, the number of hospitals, health care systems and other health care organizations on JayRay’s client list has grown. Campbell’s clients include Franciscan Health System, the Washington State Hospital Association, Providence St. Peter Hospital, the Washington State Nurses Association, Goodwill Industries and Lacey Fire District #3. In April 2007, Campbell helped Franciscan Health System celebrate the new St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor with a weekend of groundbreaking events that drew thousands. The event’s success was honored with a Totem Award from the Puget Sound Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Prior to joining JayRay, Campbell was marketing director at MultiCare Health System. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Western Washington University and a master’s degree in public administration from Seattle University. She participates in a variety of community organizations and is actively involved with the March of Dimes. |
