Kacie McKinney brings her radio promotion and journalism experience to JayRay as an assistant advisor. As a JayRay intern, McKinney was on the team that brought more than 3,000 community members and 1,500 hospital employees and their families to Overlake Hospital Medical Center’s South Tower grand opening. “Kacie’s outstanding work with the Overlake South Tower grand opening showed us her many capabilities, from writing and creative thinking to event planning,” said Kurt Jacobson, JayRay president. “We are happy to have her return to the JayRay team.” McKinney also worked with JayRay clients including Threshold Group, Experience Music Project, Jubilee at Hawks Prairie and King County International Airport. As part of the promotion team at CBS Radio, she promoted the number-one ranked Seattle music station KMPS FM at concerts and events. McKinney is a graduate of Western Washington University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism-public relations with a concentration in social psychology. McKinney was president of Western’s student public relations organization and an editor for both the school’s magazine and newspaper. |
