JayRay ads support record United Way giving
The United Way of Pierce County reported a record $13.7 million in community campaign pledges this year as a result of a $2 million challenge match funded by generous donors.
JayRay’s outdoor ads and workplace posters explained the one-year-only, dollar-for-dollar match and brought the campaign to life with exuberant leaping donors and headlines such as “This one year you are 2x as powerful.”
JayRay donates the time and talents of its staff to help United Way achieve marketing goals such as attracting younger donors and emphasizing three impact areas: child and youth development, access to health care and housing availability.
“United Way and the human services programs it funds make a big impact in our community,” said Kurt Jacobson, JayRay president. “We love creating a big impact with United Way’s marketing.”
United Way also recognized JayRay as being among area businesses whose employee contributions to the annual campaign increased 20 percent or more.
